By paying an invoice, accepting delivery, or using any product from TTM, the buyer agrees to the terms below.
| Engine Category | Warranty |
|---|---|
| Good Used — Tested & Inspected | 30 days |
| Reconditioned / Bearing & Sealed | 3 months |
| Remanufactured / Long Block | 12 months |
Warranty runs from invoice date and is non-transferable. It covers only the head, block, and crank; all other engine components are excluded unless written on the invoice. Remedy at TTM's sole discretion: replacement of the failed covered part or the complete engine — no cash refunds.
New components: 12-month warranty unless otherwise written. Used non-engine components: functional on arrival only — TTM will replace an inoperable unit within 30 days of invoice; after 30 days, sold AS-IS with no warranty.
Labor, diagnostic time, R&I, teardown, towing, freight, storage. Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind — including downtime, lost revenue, rental equipment, driver costs, lost loads, or customer chargebacks. Damage from improper install, inadequate cooling, fuel contamination, over-fueling, over-speeding, overheating, low oil or coolant, skipped break-in, or non-OEM fluids. Damage caused by an uncovered component (injector, turbo, oil cooler, ECM, sensors, etc.) that destroys a covered part. Engines not installed by a qualified diesel technician, or modified / tuned by the buyer.
Returns accepted within 30 days of invoice. 20% restocking fee on any return not caused by documented TTM error. $150 restocking fee on ECM returns. Items must be in original condition, in TTM packaging, with original invoice. Non-returnable: special-order, custom-built, painted, engraved, machine-shop-modified, energized electrical parts, or any item installed or attempted to be installed.
Cores: return within 30 days of invoice, drainable, not cracked or welded, all mounting surfaces intact. Damaged, wrong, or late cores forfeit credit in part or full at TTM's discretion. Core freight is buyer's expense. Returned-check / NSF fee: $39 per incident.
Title passes on full payment. Risk of loss passes to buyer on delivery to buyer or buyer's chosen carrier. Freight-damage claims are buyer's to file with the carrier. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TTM's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the product giving rise to the claim.
Governed by Texas law; disputes resolved exclusively in state or federal courts in Harris County, Texas. No modification of these terms binds TTM unless signed in writing by a TTM officer.
